Elementary Education
Essential Functions and Objectives:
Provides instruction and services in a self-contained classroom for students who need more time for specialized instruction.
This may include the teaching of general academics, functional academics, behavioral skills, social skills, and daily living skills.
Collaborates with general education staff for the successful inclusion of students.
Teaches diverse elementary school students grade level standards based curriculum in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies and Personal Development.
