Provides emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed and/or determined necessary. Provides ambulance transport and patient care, as directed.
Paramedic Technical Certification or Associates Degree
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to safely operate a Class D vehicle
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required to be current upon hire.
ACLS and PALS certification from approved American Heart Association training center required within 6 months of employment
Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) completed within 12 months of hire, if not current upon hire
Licenses: State of Tennessee Paramedic licensure
Current Drivers License from State of Residence with F endorsement
MVR within appropriate guidelines
Minimum Work Experience
Experience in emergency services related field
