Position Summary:

EMCT-Paramedics may perform patient care functions in accordance with their scope of practice under State law and in accordance of this job description. If there is any conflict between the State law regarding scope of practice and the job description, the more stringent shall apply. For example, if an activity is permitted under State law, but not under the job description, then the job description shall govern. This position will require paramedics to assist in emergency procedures and they must be able to procure equipment and supplies in intense situations. Relaying patient information to providers and nurses including vital signs and changes in patients' status, maintains supplies in patient areas and contributes to providing a safe environment for patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have graduated from an accredited program in Paramedic Science.

• Must have a current State Certification and/or License.

• Must obtain the following Certifications within 90 days of hire - BLS, ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT, and Handle with Care.
