Position: Paramedic

Shift: 12 hour shifts 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am

Experience:

Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent experience.

Education:

1.High school graduate.

2.Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent.

3.Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program.

Licensures/Certifications:

1.Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

2.Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse.

3.Current driver's license valid in Pennsylvania with copy on file.

4.Current Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) and ACLS certifications with copies on file.

5.Hazmat Awareness, and EVOC/EMSVO all are required.

6.Other certifications are encouraged, such as: NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, Firefighting 1 or equivalent.
