Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Boutique med mal defense law firm in the Galleria Mall area seeking Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to work with partner. This position is ideal for someone who has strong paralegal experience but also enjoys legal assistant work and does not want a 100% billable position.

The ideal candidate will have experience summarizing medical records; creating timelines; producing discovery; document review and production, including redacting and Bates labeling; and preparing and drafting correspondence to clients and other persons, as well as assisting the attorney with time entry, expense reports and other administrative duties. Candidates MUST have defense experience. This firm has a very collegial culture and is looking for someone who is interested in being part of a dynamic team.
