We are seeking a Paralegal to provide support for the Global General Counsel ("GGC") in our Sherman Oaks HQ office. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment and possesses significant initiative.

The chosen candidate must be able to commute into the office 4 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. These documents may include: non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements, business registrations, corporate filings, KYC documents, and other corporate business matters.

  • Maintaining corporate documentation in a good order in physical and digital spaces, escalate if documents are missing or incorrect

  • Providing notary services

  • Providing executive support for our GGC, by managing day to day coordination of schedules, meetings and visits from external and internal partners and team members.

  • Serving as a conduit between the GGC and company stakeholders by managing relationships and communication.

  • Proactively maintaining calendars and daily schedules for the GGC, fielding and prioritizing requests.

  • Handling communications for the GGC and connecting with both internal and external parties with a high level of integrity and tact.

  • Providing full administrative support, including scheduling management, travel arrangements, expense/invoice management, communication support, legal and people document execution and administration, department operations and all logistics related to internal and external event/meeting planning for GGC.

  • Developing presentations, templates, graphics and spreadsheets at the highest level.

  • Proofreading and editing presentations, legal documents, memos and other work products, as needed.

  • Researching a variety of issues to help the GGC with daily corporate and legal matters.

  • Managing logistics around technology and setup for team meetings.

  • Handling regular activities without prompting and advising in advance of issues or delays.

  • Building strong relationships at all levels of the organization and managing a variety of special projects when asked.

  • Supporting the efforts to establish and evolve the GGC's functions as Xsolla grows and scales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • CP or ACP certification preferred

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a minimum of 3 years Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator/Assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Act with the highest level of character and personal integrity, including demonstrating decorum and professionalism with respect to various confidential matters in the department.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and be able to independently create high-quality presentations that include charts, graphs, other visuals, etc.

  • Familiarity with legal process, procedures, terminology and documentation.

  • Proficiency in G-Suite, Jira, Atlas, Loom and similar software.

  • Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new tools and problem-solving.

  • Solutions-oriented, team player with a positive attitude, self-confidence and enthusiasm.

  • Independent, self-motivated, professional and proactive with a strong work ethic and sense of pride and accountability in work.

  • Adaptability and flexibility (including with respect to working additional hours as needed).

$75,000 - $95,000 a year
