Paralegal

Job Description Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced paralegal with strong litigation experience to join their legal team. This role requires an individual who can work efficiently in a fast pace office environment and provide essential support to attorneys.

Roles and Responsibilities: Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses. Prepare and complete court forms and file documents with the court system. manage court schedule, coordinate hearings, and maintain case deadlines.

Organize, maintain and manage case files, both physical and digital. Perform legal research and analyze case related data when needed. Communicate and coordinate directly with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.

Support attorneys with case preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders. Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements for probate and litigation cases. Experience managing sensitive client information with discretion and confidentially Strong problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving case needs.

A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: Must qualify as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code Section 6450.

Minimum three consecutive years of experience working as a paralegal for one employer. Proven experience in probate and litigation is required. Proficiency in word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Dropbox, Gmail, billing programs.

Exceptional attention to details, organizational and multitasking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small legal team.
