Job Description Job Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in LISLE, Illinois, for a meticulous Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide array of duties, ranging from cross-functional analysis to supporting the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Manager.

Your tasks will also include regulatory changes impacting the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), data analysis, and the preparation of important metrics and statistics. Responsibilities: • Conducting cross-functional analysis involving Procurement, Engineering, and MO departments • Performing detailed data analysis pertinent to the role • Preparing crucial metrics and statistics to inform decision-making • Keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes impacting the USMCA • Assisting the FTA Manager, particularly in the Qualification/Solicitation process • Coordinating the USMCA Strategic plan and supporting its Governance • Managing the International Export Team and overseeing Third-Party ECCN Classifiers • Regularly reviewing new and changing Government Regulatory Updates • Reporting to the Bureau of Industry & Security and managing CCATS • Preparing and reviewing Export Procedures • Overseeing the International Import Team and managing Canada Import Compliance • Managing US Broker and third-party relationships • Assisting with USMCA Qualification/Solicitation Management • Providing support for SAP-GTS implementation • Preparing and reviewing Import Procedures and the Importer Self-Assessment Manual (ISA)• Demonstrated experience in Import and Export operations • Proficient understanding of Import laws and regulations • Ability to handle Export-Import Documents with accuracy and efficiency • Familiarity with Export controls and their implications • Sound knowledge of Export laws and their application • Experience in dealing with Government Regulation in the context of import-export operations
