Job Description Job Description A well-established plaintiffs' personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling discovery, case management, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct discovery tasks, including responding to discovery requests and drafting demand letters and mediation briefs Draft and edit legal correspondence with strong attention to detail and writing skills Assist attorneys with case management, calendaring deadlines, and legal filings Order, review, and manage medical records and bills, a significant aspect of the role Handle scheduling of meetings and answer client calls with professionalism Utilize legal software such as MS Office, Dropbox, Adobe, and FileVine (preferred); familiarity with OneLegal and PACER is a plus Support marketing efforts, as the previous paralegal also assisted in this area Qualifications: Experience: 5-7 years as a paralegal, with at least 1 year of plaintiff-side personal injury experience Education:
Paralegal certificate preferred; at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree required Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with FileVine, OneLegal, or PACER is beneficial Soft Skills: Strong writing and communication skills, ability to multitask, and excellent people skills Language: Spanish-speaking is a plus
