General Description

The Charlotte office of Holland & Knight is seeking a paralegal for its real estate finance practice group. Candidates must have strong commercial real estate experience in real estate finance or similar transactional experience. Immediate transferable skills, strong professional background and good communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate document execution and closing logistics.
• Preparation of closing documents and ancillary transactional documentation.
• Attendance and participation in meetings and/or closings.
• Special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably at mid-to-large law firm.
• Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in fast-paced, complex transactional environment.
• Communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff, attorneys, management and external clients of the firm.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to review title and survey a plus but not required.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Paralegal Certification a plus.
