Boston, MA 02114 Duratation:01 months contract position Job Summary The Executive Office is seeking up to four Paralegals to support the agency’s Emergency Assistance (EA) and associated programs. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of a Managing Attorney, assisting in the implementation of the EA program’s CORI policy, reviewing and analyzing CORIs, and providing support to the Record Access Officer for public records requests. Key Responsibilities Assist in the review, analysis, and implementation of the EA program’s CORI policy.

Conduct legal research and prepare summaries of CORI-related matters. Provide administrative and legal assistance to the Record Access Officer, including receiving, reviewing, redacting, and responding to public record requests. Ensure timely and accurate handling of public inquiries related to legal records.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with agency policies and legal regulations. Draft legal correspondence, memoranda, and reports as required. Collaborate with legal staff to support case management and document review processes.

Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated good judgment in legal decision-making. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review. Ability to follow instructions and independently determine necessary tasks to complete assignments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other document management software. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Prior experience in legal research, records management, or government compliance is a plus.

Work Environment Hybrid work options may be available, subject to agency requirements. Position requires interaction with legal professionals, agency staff, and external stakeholders. Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
