An exciting opportunity to work in Downtown Boston. Long established firm has an immediate opening for a paralegal.

Necessary skills to be successful in this role include attention to detail, strong computer and typing skills, excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, and a strong work ethic. Filing, typing, preparing paperwork and answering correspondence for attorneys Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests Direct contact with clients and courts to aid attorneys in gathering necessary information as needed Answer basic client questions as able and consult with attorneys Request documentation pertinent to ongoing cases Draft responses to discovery, prepare motions and other pleadings as requested Track billable time and post fees to client accounts through TABs Submit billings for expenses to the firm’s controller after client is billed in TABs Utilize existing files and a variety of other research resources to develop information for pending cases Preparation of closed files for archiving purposes Achieve assigned billable goals Cover reception area when necessary answering phone and greeting visitors to the office Maintain a professional attitude and presence within the office Complete ongoing professional development through employer sponsored training with MCLE Other duties as assigned Please submit cover letter with salary expectations and resume for consideration.
