Role Summary/Purpose:
Proactively provide a range of administrative and paralegal support for the Global Law & Policy Chief Corporate Counsel and Deputy Secretary and team members as appropriate. Independently carry out all assigned responsibilities and effectively balance the needs of multiple individuals. This role will also support preparation for the GE Vernova Board of Directors meetings and special projects as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
Proactively support the assigned team by independently handling all assigned responsibilities, taking direction from and balancing the needs of multiple staff members
Maintain and coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and meetings (including both on-site and off-site conference arrangements), arrange travel schedules, travel itineraries, reconcile T&L expenses
Schedule, plan, and organize all logistical details for in-house and off-site meetings, etc., as needed
Manage a range of general administrative services including: documentation management/file set up and maintenance, processing purchase orders/invoices etc.
Anticipate, identify, analyze and solve issues/conflicts independently and discretely
Prepare and support high value support and reporting to and the GE Vernova Board of Directors
Special projects …this role will support the GL&P Chief Corporate Counsel team by assisting in the identification and management of opportunities to own appropriate outcome(s) from the activity value analysis (Identifying and fixing inefficiencies in regular procedures to improve efficiency, increase output, cut down on unwanted work, and ultimately enable greater profitability.) Preliminary area, to be confirmed and scoped, would be acting as single point of contact for all purchase orders/invoice processing for assigned area.
Interface directly with senior members of other departments, outside counsel, government agencies and vendors regarding variety of issues
Assist in drafting legal and other documents and correspondence
Handle billing for outside counsel and other legal vendors
Communicate professionally with internal and external persons
Handle confidential data and matters discreetly and professionally
Work as a team player with other assistants and teams
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or High School diploma and 5 years' work experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in an executive support or operations role
Ability to successfully organize and execute details in a fast-paced, ever-changing, environment
Ability to successfully manage competing priorities
Demonstrated proactive approach, looks beyond immediate work scope and seeks to offer assistance for betterment of broader team

The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $110,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
