• Location: Roseville, MN
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Hybrid work schedule

THE POSITION:

The Paralegal position provides legal support for administrative programs, to include researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.

This position will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines and will need to exercise initiative and judgment in both administrative matters and substantive legal tasks.

• Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives for organization.
• Complete due diligence (including the review and organization of contracts and documents), to ensure filings are completed accurately and timely.
• Draft and update legal documents under the direction of counsel; independently prepare legal documents from templates.
• Research statutes and regulations.
• Provide support for business development, as needed.
• Track and manage project timelines for administrative program initiatives, ensuring all deadlines are met.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-7 years experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years of healthcare experience with an understanding of healthcare law including Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred)

• Highly attentive to detail; excellent organizational and time management skills; clear, concise, and logical writing style.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information

• Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Effective oral and written communication skills; Effectively communicate and work with diverse constituencies and corporate cultures; develop rapport with people at all levels of the organization.

• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA qualified program- required

Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are ages birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.

SALARY RANGE:

At PHS, we are committed to providing specialized care for medically complex children. Every role, from direct patient care to customer support, plays a vital part in improving the lives of kids and families. The impact you make is invaluable. We are dedicated to offering fair and transparent compensation to our team members. The range for this role is $31.33 to $34.47 hourly, based on experience and qualifications.
