Paralegal

Located in the historic and vibrant Midtown neighborhood, our Atlanta office is conveniently situated right off I-85 and is just steps away from the beautiful Piedmont Park. What you would do:

• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, motions, orders, and notices.
• Schedule and maintain case calendars.
• Research complex issues using Westlaw.
• Investigate legal matters including fact check, witness interviews and summarization.
• Manage document production and trial prep including notebooks, exhibits and case law cite checks.
• File pleadings, motions, and other documents.
• Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other documents.
• Coordinate and utilize firm resources to achieve client goals (or something like this).

What you bring:

• At least 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience
• Paralegal certificate or undergraduate degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including excel, word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in managing document production
• Experience capturing and recording billable time.
• High degree of detail and organization
• Client focus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Drive and personal initiative
