Paralegal

Our client, a law firm specializing in wills, trusts, and estates, is actively recruiting a full-time Paralegal with outstanding organizational and communication skills to join their Richmond office to assist attorneys by handling matters in Probate and Trust administration. However, the Paralegal will spend time working out of both Virginia office locations. This position includes all areas of the estate law practice that do not require a law degree and often requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings, phone calls, and emails.The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five (5) years of experience around probate, or accounting, or estate administration.
• A four-year degree from an accredited institution or a paralegal certificate from a recognized paralegal training program.

The position requires excellent time management both in personal workflow and in managing deadlines. In addition, this position requires consistent and predictable performance, patience, the desire to help others (both clients and co-workers), impeccable listening skills, and the ability to create and contribute to a stable and harmonious work environment.

A preferred candidate will have:

• Some experience in a law firm working as an estate administration paralegal.
