Requirements / Qualifications

Education: *High School Graduation or equivalent (required) Must meet ONE of the following requirements to qualify as a paraeducator: ~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts) ~Pass District Paraeducator Exam ~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate) ~College Associates degree or higher (NOTE: District Paraeducator exam is given every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the PRJUSD District Office) Please call Rebecca Justice at 805.769-1000 ext 30421 to reserve an exam. EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children. Experience working in an educational setting (desired)
