Job Summary

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, perform a wide variety of services associated with the instructional program both in the classroom and other locations in the school. Aides receive their instruction from the certificated staff. Employees in this assignment spend a major portion of their time working with pupils in small groups or as tutors on a one-to-one basis. The remainder of the time is spent in preparing instructional materials, and in performing other tasks as assigned.

To comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) you must meet the following requirements: Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND any one of the following: 1. Completion of two (2) years of college at an Accredited Institution of Higher Education (48 units) 2. Possession of an Associate's degree or higher degree 3. Passage of both sections of the CBEST 4. Passage of a Bonita Unified School District (BUSD) approved Paraprofessional Exam
