Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner pr Physician Assistant

Located on the picturesque Maine coastline, Waldo County General Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Palliative Care team. Work within a regional healthcare system with a large primary care referral network to help serve the coastal Maine communities.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, community-centered team player. Work collaboratively with support staff and the current regional providers to provide care to patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.

Waldo County General Hospital: A member of the MaineHealth system, Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) is a 25 bed critical access full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Belfast, Maine.

We offer inpatient and outpatient care to the coastal communities of Maine with Hospitalist Services, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, and the Surgical Services Department. Our medical staff also serves our rural communities as well with four rural health centers, which increases access to primary care in our area.
