POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production and manufacture of circular bacon logs or bacon slabs.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

(Essential duties for which this position is responsible.)

• Perform all jobs in a manner that assures maximum possible personal safety, food safety and product quality.

• Tasks include product loading and transferring of product or ingredients with and electric jack.

• Perform tasks such as pickled formulation and cooking require ability to complete and accurately evaluate paperwork.

• Perform tasks including evaluating product against performance and quality specifications such as trimming, clipping and pressing.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

High School or GED preferred.

Meat experience and background preferred.

Required Skills

• Required to obtain Lockout/Tagout certification

• Experience in meat industry preferred.

• People handling and communication skills

• High School diploma or GED preferred
