Palantir Data Product Owner

Job Description

The Palantir Data Product Owner is responsible for defining and driving the vision and strategy for data products powered by Palantir Foundry, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. This role requires a strong understanding of data science, analytics, and data-driven decision making, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality data products.

• Discover new candidate use cases to grow the value created by Palantir Foundry. Define implementation approach and asses ROI for use cases across the organization.

• Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

• Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data science, machine learning, analytics, data transformation, and data-driven decision making.

• Ability to perform and communicate data analysis and ROI.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

• Experience in product management, preferably in a data-focused role.

• Prior experience with Palantir Foundry.

• Experience in retail and/or hospitality industries.
