Performs painting duties as assigned.
Prepares all surfaces for paint, uses drop cloths and masking tape to protect surfaces.
Applies primer or mildewcide prior to paint where needed.
Applies paint to prepared exterior or interior surfaces by use of paint gun, roller or brush.
Applies caulking where needed.
Applies concrete stain to walkways and entrances.
Mixes paint to achieve desired color.
Sets up and uses ladders and/or scaffolding.
Leaves work area in clean, neat, safe condition.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read limited numbers of two and three syllable words; and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to speak English, Bilingual is a plus.. Ability to speak effectively to customers or team members of the organization.
Basic math including ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide tens and hundreds, and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
