Manage and paint all interior and exterior surfaces on the Three Pillars campus. Painting would include all preparations of painting surface and the use of proper types of paints, stains and varnishes. Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding and operate lifts. Effectively manage and purchase equipment and supplies needed to complete projects assigned.
A. Painting, wallpaper, and wall repair
Paint all surfaces requiring paint, stain, or varnish. Ability to prepare the wall with proper finishing of wall prior to the finish coating must also be required.
Schedule all needed repairs and projects with the appropriate residents, family member, staff, or volunteer.
Initiate, follow through and document all areas that were completed with date, time and color if applicable.
Assist in purchasing by getting quotations and comparative shopping within the budget.
Repair and replace items throughout the campus such as blocked drains, faucets, light fixtures, electrical devices, handrails, beds, tables, chairs, motors, pumps, tractors, lawn mowers, motorized vehicles, etc.
Perform fire drills for all buildings on campus.
Take on-call responsibilities as needed.
C. Preventative Maintenance
Identify maintenance concerns and develop maintenance schedule for all systems.
Initiate preventative maintenance duties.
Report and review findings with the Building and Grounds Manager or Director of Environmental Services.
Run lawn care equipment including all Masonic motor vehicles.
Assist in the Campus snow removal and maintenance of the grounds.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow state and federal regulations, and Three Pillars policies and procedures related to infection control, standard precautions, lock out/tag out, etc.
Ensure machinery and equipment is in proper working order.
F. Other Responsibilities
Participate in meetings as needed.
Achieve satisfactory performance in all performance evaluation areas.

Keep current with job standards through inservice training, continuing education, personal and professional development.
Actively recognize and appropriately respond to customer needs.

Minimum education, certification and/or licensure: Valid Wisconsin driver's license. High school diploma or GED.
Physical requirements: Stand, walk, bend and squat frequently. Able to lift, push/pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Able to drive tractors and motorized vehicles for deliveries, grass cutting and snow removal. Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lift operation. Ability to distinguish between shades of colors and patterns. Must have good finger and manual dexterity and motor coordination to use paint brushes, rollers, and ability to perform fine detailed work.
Mental requirements: The ability to understand written and verbal English instructions, directions, schedules, etc., including numerical skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to read blueprints. Adjust to changes in schedule easily.
Experience: Must demonstrate a sound surface preparation and painting aptitude preferably through prior experience with interior, exterior and enamel paints. Must have basic understanding of stain, varnish, cleaners, and paint composition and the differences in using each appropriately.
