Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in painting or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an Aerospace Painter

• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and specifications for surface preparation and coating application.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in confined spaces.

Job Description

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.

• Mix and apply primers, paints, and sealants to aircraft surfaces using spray guns, brushes, and rollers

• Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of coating while minimizing overspray and waste.

• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to optimize painting processes.

• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections.

• Maintain painting equipment and facilities in clean, safe, and operational condition.
