We are looking for team members who want to make a Premier difference and provide an exceptional contribution to our growing organization.We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Aircraft Paint Technician 2, at our Dayton, OH location. This position will report to The General Manager.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely perform aircraft preparation, painting, and detailing of aircraft under minimal supervision. Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signoffs and quality specifications using Corridor.Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as dual action sanders, hydraulic lift platforms and paint sprayers. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools.Have some knowledge of the stripe laying out process

Apply glazing and sealing compounds in preparation for final painting.Mix paints and primers. Perform leading edge sealant work in final detail.

Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Use personal protective equipment and ensure the aircraft interior is protected (PTP).Be able to create complete paint prep work including chemical stripping and sanding on various forms of substrates (aluminum, composite, steel, stainless steel, etc.)Properly care for and maintain paint shop equipment and tools as assigned. Company paid Holidays401k with Company match RequirementsQualifications:FAA A&P License preferred R&R flight control and balance experience. Must be team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious

Must be goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality expectations.Must have problem-solving skills.Must demonstrate positive behavior and attitude.Must have 5 or more years aviation paint and/or autobody painting experience

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently to meet FAA Regulations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.Able to pass Pulmonary Function Test to obtain respirator certification.Ability to use standard aircraft mechanics tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft painting process. Able to climb ladders and stairs, perform close tolerance work, work in small spaces, lift up to 40 pounds.

Must be able to work at heights to include from a 20' ladder. Knowledge of Corridor Maintenance Program, and Microsoft Office programs A working knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and acrylics).
