Paint Technician

Job Summary: This Paint Technician is essential to ensure that all wooden cabinets are painted for vinyl wrapping and final assembly.

Essential Functions:

• Check Paint viscosity, Log and doc irregularities

• Complete booth coating activities per schedule

• Document any modification to the material (adding EEP)

• Ensure the paint equipment is installed properly

• Check paint levels in pots. Fill pots as needed

• Change out agitators on the drums and pressure pots

• Inspect paint booth and equipment for safety violations.

• Daily cleanup and equipment inspection

• Fill out daily usage logs and material request.

Other duties

• Employee can be asked to perform other duties that are reasonable within the area of expertise

• Move paint waste and used booth filters to the 90-day Storage area.

• Assist in the removal of paint waste and used booth filters from the site

• Place all hazardous materials in the 90-day storage location

• Can work standing for most of the shift.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand all day and lift up to 35lbs throughout the day.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or higher

• Minimum experience using a paint sprayer preferred - Will train on-site
