Job Description
As a Paint Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and functionality within our paint booths. Your primary duties will include cleaning paint booths, equipment, and associated areas to ensure optimal working conditions, safety compliance, and high-quality paint finishes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with team members.
This is a 2nd shift position, and the hours are from 2:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Clean paint booths, walls, floors, and ventilation systems to remove overspray, dust, and debris using appropriate cleaning tools and solutions.
Dispose of hazardous waste materials, such as used paint filters and solvents, in compliance with environmental regulations.
Inspect paint booth components for damage, wear, or malfunction and report any issues to leadership.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes.
Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, materials used, and any maintenance or repair needs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Previous experience in industrial cleaning, automotive detailing, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb a ladder
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
