Paint Line Production Supervisor Stable Company

Up to $25/hour PLUS Overtime & Great Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Southern USA

We are recruiting a Production Supervisor for an immediate opening with a growing company in the South! Youll need to understand the flow of the manufacturing process and be able to provide technical management & expertise as the team creates quality industrial products. Working with a great team of engineers, youll be an integral part of our company as you assist with process improvements and technical developments that increase our product quality & profits.

Youll supervise a dedicated team of painters as they complete quality coatings and paintings via blast & paint booths. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Coordinate information, materials, tools, & equipment needed for each job order
Schedules production to timely meet customer delivery needs.
Perform Quality Inspections of finished products
Coach, teach, & lead new technicians to become experts in their field
Insures safe work practices are followed and good housekeeping is maintained.

Minimum requirements for this Production Supervisors position:
At least 3 years manufacturing supervisor experience
Working knowledge of application of paint & coatings to prepared metals & fiberglass
HS diploma or GED

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy. Typical FunctionsSupervises a small technical staff by interviewing, recommending for hire, training, assigning and reviewing work, terminating, and evaluating performance of incumbents. Receives and logs messages from telephone and two-way radio transmissions. Monitors transmissions from other state agencies and field personnel and dispatches information concerning accidents, status reports, personal identification, and base station relays. Contacts and provides various emergency personnel with details of situation to aid in their response, and records and logs outgoing information. Conducts routine checks on field personnel recording time, location, and activity. Responds to requests for information, by researching records, explaining rules and regulations, inquiring on terminal, and providing requestor with written and verbal findings. Types and maintains logs on all received and transmitted messages. Performs other duties as assigned. Special Job DimensionsKnowledge, Abilities, and SkillsKnowledge of supervisory practices and procedures. Knowledge of Federal Communications Commission rules and regulations. Knowledge of operating procedures for telecommunications equipment. Ability to communicate verbal radio transmissions. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to maintain records. Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the work of subordinates. Ability to prepare oral and written information. Minimum Education and/or ExperienceThe formal education equivalent of an associates degree in business, office administration, general business or a related field; plus one year of vocational, military, or similar training in radio/communications; plus three years of experience involving radio dispatch, operation of voice communications equipment, or a related field, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management.
