Work with the leader in the power industry! Our facility in Eagle, WI is seeking a Paint Hanger

  • Waterjet Assistant.

The Paint Hanger

  • Waterjet Assistant is expected to safely complete supervised powder coat paint established procedures, processes, or policies. Paint Hangers safely and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line. The Paint Hangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result being a ready to use part or assembly. This position reports directly to Production Manager or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regular and prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as define and overtime as required.

  • Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line

  • Process each part by hanging/racking to paint application

  • Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process

  • Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment, work habits and performing appropriate housekeeping duties)

  • Constantly work in a constantly high heat environment

  • Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process

  • Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn-off

  • Maintain proper counts

  • Report all scrap

  • Perform stock handling duties as required

  • Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of experience

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Ability to effectively communicate

  • Ability to understand and execute basic standard procedures

  • Ability to perform basic reading and writing skills

  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with powder paint systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and maintain constant hand/eye coordination along with balance. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must perform frequent pushing and pulling of trolley, carts, and pallet jacks up to 71 pounds of force (82 pounds of force at the curve). The employee must repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted, above or below shoulder heights and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures of the work area are consistent with a high heat environment.

The Machine Operator – Fabrication II is expected to perform under the direction of the area supervisor, manufacture parts per plant specification in an accurate and timely manner utilizing a CNC Machining Center/Fabrication equipment while recognizing safety and efficiencies. This position reports directly to Production Manager or Supervisor. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Regular and prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as define and overtime as required. * Set up, adjust and operate CNC Machining Center * Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures, verify programs and tooling * Perform complex machine set ups and critical operations * Position and replace tools, and set in relation to machine * Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications * Understand special material handling required for materials and equipment used in the work cell * Assist in other work areas as needed * Repair/correction of errors * Participation in training sessions * Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * An understanding of machining/fabricating fundamentals * Experience working with fabrication machines, specifically milling machine/Brake/Turret drill press, saw, grinder. Additional Qualifications: * Ability to effectively communicate * Contributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures. * Intermediate PC knowledge. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products * Strong problem solving and reasoning skills * Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions. Preferred Qualifications: * Preferred experience on equipment and automation consistent with a metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operation. * Intermediate mechanical aptitude, ability to understand complex issues and systematically work toward resolution. * Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
