About the Role

Copart is on the hunt for a seasoned, analytical, Paid Search Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of the paid search marketplace and a proven track record of top-notch operational skills. Candidates must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical abilities in order to turn insights into actions for growth. This person will be responsible for the profitability of our SEM campaigns, with hands on management of Google and Bing product suites, along with training junior team members to accelerate growth.

  • Oversee the strategy, development, and optimization of large-scale PPC campaigns across various search engines and platforms, with budgets in the 8 figures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing strategies that are data-driven and ROI-focused.

  • Utilize SQL and other advanced analytical tools to mine complex datasets for insights and opportunities, driving continuous optimization of paid search campaigns.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the latest developments in paid search.

  • Provide comprehensive reporting on campaign performance, leveraging technical expertise to create advanced and automated reporting solutions.

  • Be a hands-on player-coach, promoting a culture of excellence and encouraging ongoing education on the latest industry tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years SEM experience with multi-million-dollar budgets and proven track record of profitable growth

  • Deep knowledge of SEM best practices and campaign management

  • Comfort with the Google product suite, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, GA Editor

  • Experience using Offline Conversion Imports a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience with hypothesis testing.

  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, and at least a minimum understanding of basic SQL.

  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple competing timelines concurrently.

  • High levels of intellectual curiosity.
