Paid Search Manager

The The Pay-per-Click Manager will take a lead role in implementing and guiding the paid search strategy for Park Place Technologies, a global data center and networking optimization firm. This role is responsible for taking an analytical, data-driven approach to optimizing existing campaigns and proactively recommending new campaigns for our global product lines. A results-driven individual with a consultative mindset will be an exceptional fit in this role. The PPC Manager will be the steward of a significant yearly media budget. The PPC Manager will be a key member of the marketing team working to drive lead volume and reduce cost per lead.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all aspects of the Park Place Technologies paid search accounts.

  • Conduct keyword research globally that aligns searcher intent with our offerings and business goals

  • Build new campaigns within Google Ads and work with stakeholders and internal subject matter experts to craft concise and compelling ad copy

  • Regularly identify and implement negative keywords that improve lead quality and lower our cost per conversion

  • Run campaign experiments to continually improve the performance of established campaigns

  • Serve as the in-house subject matter expert for our paid search channel

  • Research new products and services in response to our growing portfolio of network and digital infrastructure management offerings

  • Work in a collaborative and interconnected environment of experienced marketers that must regularly coordinate on a global level to deliver results for our internal and external stakeholders

  • Help develop and maintain automated reporting on paid search KPIs

  • Work with Google Data Studio and spreadsheets to create dashboards that tell an accurate and compelling story with our paid search data that can be used to drive the overarching strategy

  • Work closely with Analytics to track results, extract insights, and optimize SEM performance

  • Collaborate with our sales, subject matter experts and product teams across the globe to maximize demand generation effectiveness and ensure alignment with all sales and marketing goals

  • Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • 4 - 7+ years of Search Engine Marketing experience.

  • Experience working with analytical software (i.e. Google Analytics, Semrush). Must be able to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and use insights to produce the best ROI for our paid search campaigns.

  • Experience with using scripts in Google Ads to add another level of sophistication to our paid media efforts.

  • Must understand paid search bid optimization types and remain current with new Google Ads platform developments.

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Extensive B2B experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with website development and CMS management (WordPress) a plus.

  • Experience with display advertising a plus.

  • Current Google Ads certification a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
