Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney SVOD service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.

The Customer Acquisition team is tasked with driving new subscriber growth. The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of user acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a passion for the digital media landscape and understands the intricacies and unique attributes of every step in the marketing funnel. The successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative, and flexible growth mindset to the role, which will be critical to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel.

There are two vacancies on this team, one will be a dedicated resource to the ESPN+ product, and the second will be dedicated to the Disney+ product, once it is launched.   • 2+ years of work experience with at least 1 year working in a highly analytical environment (management consulting, investment banking, business strategy)

  • Power user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Understanding of statistics and testing methodologies

  • Familiarity with direct to consumer, entertainment or sports marketing preferred.

  • Analyze marketing campaigns to identify ways to optimize based on key business metrics

  • Partner with analysis and content teams to develop strategic recommendations for how best to market a wide variety of content.

  • Work with the broader customer acquisition team to develop and prioritize marketing hypotheses for testing.

  • Develop a toolkit of digital marketing best practices

  • Make marketing spend allocation recommendations based on performance and other key metrics

  • Track key business metrics relating to acquisition and retention; share insights to support the team in marketing decision making

  • Perform competitive analysis, vet marketing strategies, develop insights for international launches
