About the Program: Movement Labs is hiring Organizing Fellows for our Beers & Ballots initiative! As a Canvasser, you will join Beers & Ballots staff and volunteers at bars showing football games for swing state teams, then buy patrons a drink who help mobilize their swing state friends to vote.

About the Role: As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for in-person canvassing to talk to swing voters, get out the vote, and help achieve our goals. This position is part time with a minimum of 10 hours per week with the opportunity to work more hours if available. Pay is $20 an hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with the public on the streets and at bars and events
• Hit targets given by the Field Organizer.
• Track and report accurate data.
• Support the overall effort of the Beers & Ballots field operations.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for civic engagement and political activism.
• Total fearlessness around strangers and extreme extroversion.
• Friendly with a "Can-Do" attitude.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends is a must.
• Experience in political campaigns or advocacy work is a plus.
