Packer Operator

Looking for a fulfilling opportunity in Chanhassen, MN? ProStaff is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Packer Operator to join our team!

Pay: $19 to $21 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts

Description of Duties:

• Operate department equipment to produce products according to customer guidelines and standard operating procedures.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure the product meets specifications.

• Read and understand production tickets to execute tasks accurately.

• Package and move finished products efficiently.

• Assist with machine setup as needed.

• Complete electronic and paper documentation accurately.

• Handle and inventory finished products; prepare products for mailing.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Assist coworkers as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail are also desired. Candidates must be able to work consecutive 12-hour shifts, rotating 2-2-3 days per week, including weekend rotations. They should also be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds and standing, walking, bending, twisting, pivoting, crouching, squatting, kneeling, and stooping for up to 12 hours. Additionally, sensory requirements such as vision, hearing, and feeling are necessary, along with upper and lower extremity motion capabilities.
