This position is an entry level position in the packaging operations. The job functions and responsibilities include basic proficient operations of packaging equipment, including Little David Case Tapers, Manual Line operations, Hand Labeling, Visual Inspections, BFB Bundlers, Line and Equipment cleaning and Line Clearances, proper and correct Documentation practices.
Must be able to work in Non-Aseptic filling operations. Requires special gowning practices and techniques.
This position requires line clearance qualification, EHS & S Initiative Training and all related EHS training including BAPP Observations, LOTO qualification, 100% status of all Compliance Wire requirements including SOP, EHS training, Company Policy training and the required 6 hours minimum of GMP's maintained throughout the year. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, environmental health and safety procedure awareness, and compliance within the respective area.
Attend and participate in lean Improvement initiatives such as reducing costs & OEE initiatives. Responsible for Maintaining Quality, OEE, Material Variance and Scrap goals.
Responsibilities Operates basic packaging line equipment. Maintain production area as to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance failures), cleans packaging lines after each run and perform Line Clearances.
Responsible for maintaining OEE. Properly document all activities and operations correctly and on time. Meets and maintains all required training during the year.
Support OpEx and EHS&S initiatives. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Knowledgeable in proficiently operating packaging equipment, including Little David Case Tapers, Bundling, Hand Labeling, Visual Inspections and such. Good mathematical skills.
Able to work quickly and under pressure. Good Documentation skills. Must be detail oriented and quality conscious. Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English and possess basic math skills.
