The AstraZeneca Newark Supply Site in Newark, DE, was established in 1971 and currently employs approximately 260 people. Over the course of these years, Newark has undergone many product portfolio changes since it first began as Stuart Pharmaceuticals through today as the designated AZ North America Packaging Center of Excellence and a Flexible Formulation site for the global supply of complex products. This position is primarily responsible for creating, planning, and managing the maintenance program of the Site's packing operations. Packaging Maintenance Planning Analysts are required to be able to provide analytical evaluation of the packaging lines and machines performance to the Packaging and Maintenance Groups.

What you will do:

  • Develops detailed work plans and maintenance schedules

  • Conducts project scoping as required and material acquisition and management for internal and external maintenance activities in order to enable effective and efficient execution of maintenance work.

  • Creates and manage GMP and non-GMP master data in the MySAP plant maintenance management system: including equipment master records, functional locations, equipment classes and characteristics, document masters, permits, work centers for employees, PM maintenance plans, PM task lists, and PM maintenance schedules.

  • Responsible for the retention of maintenance technical documents, including but not limited to retrieval, filing, and archiving of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance work orders. Remain in compliance with AstraZeneca standards, SOP's, and records retention schedules.

  • Manages the administration of all Preventive Maintenance Checklists. Serves as the SME for Site Maintenance SAP PM module.

  • Generates and publish workload performance and key reports to support maintenance functions throughout the site.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 2 years analytical experience

  • Proficiency in electronic document management, Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Working knowledge of GMPs as related to maintenance procedures and documentation.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision in a customer focused team environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • High attention to detail needed to check complex work for accuracy and completeness.

  • Strong organization, administrative and time-management skills.

  • Ability to make good business decisions using sound judgment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or Associates Degree and Journeymen certification in a related field (engineering, mechanics, electrics, automation, maintenance, reliability). Equivalent education and related experience may be considered in lieu of Journeymen certification.

  • Proficiency in MySAP Plant Maintenance Module and/or other CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

  • Formal related SAP training

  • Working knowledge of Building Facilities, Manufacturing and Packaging Equipment Maintenance and Repair

  • Knowledge on creation and interpretations of dashboards and graphs, preferably PowerBI
