Sanofi Consumer Healthcare US (formerly Chattem) is a leading marketer and manufacturer of a broad portfolio of branded over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products, in such categories as allergy, upper and lower gastrointestinal, skin care, topical pain care, oral care and other OTC toiletry products. The US CHC portfolio includes well-recognized brands such as: Allegra, Nasacort, Xyzal, Dulcolax, Gold Bond, Cortizone-10, Icy Hot, Aspercreme, Rolaids, ACT, Unisom, and Selsun Blue.
This job will entails troubleshooting existing control systems including programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, mechanical gearboxes and driven componentry.
This job requires the ability to work well in a team centred environment and use of clear communication with others on the shop floor.
This job demands self-discipline to develop skill sets in a variety of maintenance related tasks.
Perform product changeovers while training line personnel to do the same utilizing centerline concepts
Help maintain centerline data for changeover tasks lists
Perform preventive maintenance tasks issued from maintenance planner helping keep equipment at base condition
Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of equipment from electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical disciplines
Maintain regiment of routine training assignments as notified
Contribute daily to shift huddles and maintenance shift reporting
Qualified candidates will have training certification from industrial trades related program; 3-5 years' experience in industrial maintenance related troubleshooting including plc I/O; ability to utilize basic electrical troubleshooting equipment such as voltmeter, ohm meter, and amp meter.
Preferred candidates will possess 5-7 years' experience troubleshooting automated control systems, capability to perform programming of plc's, vfd's, flow meters, etc. Preferred candidates also possess experience in facilitating installation and/or start-up of automated equipment in and industrial setting.
Terms of Employment
The hired candidate will be available to work overtime when needed
The hired candidate if requested will be willing to help cover shifts other than that normally worked in the event of other absences
