Packaging Engineer

Description:

The Packaging Engineer will be responsible for:

• Evaluating current packaging and create cost improvement strategies for both existing and new package designs

• Utilizing computer and mechanical design tools to create packaging products

• Developing packaging designs using Cad Software to minimize waste, reduce costs and ensure product safety during transportation and storage.

• Selecting appropriate packaging material using Supply chain knowledge

• Creating packaging prototypes and conduct testing to meet the required specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Package engineering, mechanical engineering, Supply Chain, or something comparable
• 5+ years working in manufacturing environment as a packaging Engineer
