Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Packaging Coordinator to work at our facility in Fairfield, CA. This individual will participate in the Packaging planning process and is responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems, reports, and processes to solve problems, improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the entire work area.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite in Fairfield, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare orders & reports daily to ensure high productivity of Packaging Specialists.

• Develop and validate daily operations to facilitate continuous improvement.

• Identify and propose opportunities to improve linearity of product flow throughout the month.

• Ensure all discrepancies are reported to Packaging Lead and follow up daily to expedite resolution.

• Prioritize and sequence parts on hold back into Operations production line based on customer priority.

• Attend stand-up meetings for Packaging and update visual boards with latest estimated Operations completion date to ensure transparency of product flow and schedule through Shipping Documentation and Shipping.

• Establish visual controls for all packaging materials and facilitate orders prior to stock outages based on lead time specific to each packaging supply needed to process all Delivery Documents and packaging requirements.

• Liaison between Operations Manager, Leads, Quality Supervisor, Procurement and Delivery Assurance.

• Coordinate with Quality, Configuration and internal customer inspection requirements and escalate to Quality Manager if shipment to support customer or company need is at risk, as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Access

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and influence at all levels within an organization

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with SAP ( System Application & Procedures)

The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
