Packaging Associate

• Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED; 1 to 3 years of experience materials handling, packing, shipping and receiving; forklift certification a plus

• Reports to: Supply Chain & Facilities Manager.

• Primary job responsibility: Preparing product for shipment to ensure on-time customer delivery.

• Essential functions of :

• Prepare product for shipment;

• Pack product according to specific instructions;

• Clean and prepare containers for packing;

• Check to ensure boxes/containers are damage free;

• Verify if items being shipped are correct;

• Correctly complete all associated forms;

• Assist Inventory Control Specialist as needed;

• Perform housekeeping tasks as needed and required;

• Other tasks as requested and required by Management; and

• Preparation of appropriate documentation.
