Packager

Henry Company (A Carlisle Company) is looking for a self-motivated Packager. Packager must ensure that all items are in proper working order and ready to be sent out to the buyer. All defective products must be reported to the supervisor and handled according to the company procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check temperature on boiler and be sure equipment is operating correctly.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/ or safety procedures.

• Keep the workplace clean by sweeping, emptying trash, and handling other minor related duties.

• Respond to conflicts and operational emergencies in a timely manner and report it to the necessary party(s).

• Complete a daily activity log daily.

• Package materials properly so that they can be shipped out or put into inventory.

• Prepare items for shipment according to count, weight and description as directed.

• Responsible for pulling pallets at the pallet conveyor when production line is manufacturing.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Working Conditions:

• Expected work environment: Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold.

• The duties of the position primarily involve work to be done on the manufacturing floor, where noise and dust are common.

Note to California applicants:

Per the states Wage Transparency Act the range for this position is $21.16. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience and other qualifying skill sets.
