Job Summary

FedEx Ground is hiring individuals to load and unload packages for shifts of approximately 2-4 hours in our fast-paced environment. Package Handlers are responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on package volume and business needs.

Package Handlers will receive a competitive hourly rate and are eligible for an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, holiday pay, parental leave and tuition assistance after completion of an eligibility period. Flexible schedules are offered at many of our locations and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant with warehouse administrative support experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our growing team! Role Summary: Provide administrative warehouse support for South Texas District. Responsibilities & Essential Functions include: * Receiving/Shipping of materials and goods. * Staging and storage of inventory. * Receiving and processing returns. * Inventory Control documentation. * Assisting with the monthly cycle counts and annual inventory counts. * Work with procurement and accounting to have new vendors setup - ensuring insurance requirements are met, and new vendor information is submitted. * Perform packaging and shipping for locations. This may include shipping hazardous material samples (for testing, etc). * Support South Texas District in ordering and keeping accurate counts of warehouse material on a daily basis to meet objectives and immediate needs. * Responsible for Staging and Kitting of Turnaround materials. * Responsible for setting up storage locations of materials within the Plant and manage the Maintenance and Turnaround budget that is in place. * And other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * 1-2 years' experience working in a warehouse handling shipping and receiving would be a plus. * Experience in field operations is a huge plus. * Must be proficient using Microsoft Office. * Strong communication skills (verbal and written). * Experience working with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers. * Strong planning, organization, time management skills. * Must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter. * Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. * Team player * Up to 10% travel required. Certificates & Licenses: * None required. Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities: * In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be articulate and capable of effectively communicating (both verbal and written) with both peers and superiors. Also, must possess good organizational skills. * Incumbents must exercise tact, discretion and professionalism when dealing with callers and visitors.
