Job Summary

FedEx Ground is hiring individuals to load and unload packages for shifts of approximately 2-4 hours in our fast-paced environment. Package Handlers are responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on package volume and business needs.

Package Handlers will receive a competitive hourly rate and are eligible for an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, holiday pay, parental leave and tuition assistance after completion of an eligibility period. Flexible schedules are offered at many of our locations and will be discussed during the hiring process.

VIEW JOBS 12/26/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-26T00:00 Operations Manager – Manchester Working closely with the Account Director, Account Manager and Business Development Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of service operations within the back-office function of our solution, ensuring continuity of service and that deliverables are timely and cost effective. The function encompasses operational governance and is responsible for achieving compliance to contractual requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Operations Manager will also be responsible for improving systems and processes as well as managing the scalable off-site Account team within the Resource Solutions' UK Service Centre network. Responsibilities: Service Centre Operations * Interpret demand planning data and convert to capacity planning to determine service centre operational strategies * Improve operations by identifying and resolving problems to include preparing action plans and system audits * Meet Service Centre financial objectives by evaluating performance reports and initiating corrective actions where applicable * Ownership for accomplishing new and ad hoc requests and exploring opportunities to add value in the delivery of best-in-class services * Meet Service Centre resourcing objectives by recruiting and selecting resource as well as communicating job expectations and conducting performance reviews * Proactively own and drive the continuous improvement and efficiencies through collaboration with the Account Director and Business Development Manager * Partner with the team to gain an operational perspective in order to support efficiency improvements * Work with the Account Director to ensure that there are process and policy subject matter experts (SME) across all components of service delivery such as Sourcing and Recruitment * Ensuring the White Glove Service is executed to the highest standards, tracking all applicable candidates throughout the client lifecycle and acting as the initial point of escalation Compliance and Governance * Develop, assess, fix and improve quality system processes to keep the processes both effective and efficient * Solve problems that can result in quality failures and identifying ways to work more efficiently * Ensure service delivery is performed within documented compliance framework * Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues * Identify key metrics to monitor and work with MI Leads to track relevant and required metrics * Conduct business impact assessments prior to implementing new operational changes Optional Excellence * Proactive process and performance management; BAU SLA tracking on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis * Act as the Subject Matter Expert on key procedural and process steps * Establish a working rhythm for the team's varying functions to work collaboratively and share information * Establish and own a central forum to capture risks, issues, escalations, ensuring the team feed into this forum to enable risk mitigation and avoidance of service failure * Identify, raise and resolve key policy, process and/or service delivery related risks and issues in conjunction with the Account Director * Delivery of agreed reports focusing on a structured, tailored operational performance improvement activities which encompass adherence to contractual SLAs, internal operational KPIs, data integrity and service excellence targets * Act as the ambassador for compliance and processes to the team * Responsible for training the team on any changes in process Skills and Experience Essential * Proven experience of full life cycle professional recruitment, ideally from a financial services organisation * Understanding of quality control strategies and processes * Experience of managing internal relationships to deliver a business outcome * Ability to proactively analyse, identify issues and engage the right stakeholders to resolve * Matrix / remote team management Desirable * Experience with change management strategies and techniques * Process audit experience * Business writing experience * Project management experience If you are interested in finding out more about this role, please get in touch by sending us an up to date CV and one of the team will be in touch.
