Job Summary

FedEx Ground is hiring individuals to load and unload packages for shifts of approximately 2-4 hours in our fast-paced environment. Package Handlers are responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, scanning, placing packages, as well as physical bending, twisting, kneeling and etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Shifts may vary depending on package volume and business needs.

Package Handlers will receive a competitive hourly rate and are eligible for an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, holiday pay, parental leave and tuition assistance after completion of an eligibility period. Flexible schedules are offered at many of our locations and will be discussed during the hiring process.

General Summary/ Overview Statement: Under general direction of the Clinical Data Repository (CDR) team senior manager, the incumbent's primary responsibilities will focus on analytical support for multiple complex projects, within Partners IS clinical systems. S/he would participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and on-going support and maintenance of clinical applications and archiving systems. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to understand and document application functionality, system dependencies, and integration requirements. This role will be interacting with analytical, development and operational team members across the organization. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include support of the systems and applications in the CDR domain. Principal duties will include: * Contribute to projects related to the CDR, clinical application development and legacy system archiving, utilizing project management and system development life cycle methodologies. * Work with other team members to define and execute quality assurance measures including thorough, detailed test plans and testing. * Work with other team members to maintain, evaluate and revise clinical systems to ensure data quality and the effectiveness and efficiency of their use. * Complete work assignments in accordance with established project timelines. * Participate in the definition of scope and objectives for highly complex projects. * Participate in functional requirements definition. * Participate in user training and system implementation at multiple Partners entities. * Provide post-implementation and on-going system and on-call support, both on and off hours. * Develop system and user documentation. * Develop and execute test and data validation plans; document and summarize findings. * Communicate ongoing project status to management as well as team members. * Work with matrixed project teams across many functional areas. * Proactively promote a positive team environment. * Provide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of Partners Information Systems. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Bachelor's Degree required. * 3 years of experience * Information Systems experience in a healthcare environment, including the implementation and support of complex systems preferred. Skills/ Abilities/ Competencies Required: * Self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently and be flexible in a multi-site environment. * Able to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects. * Strong interest in the understanding of QA principles and experience in their utilization. * Strong, demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills with vigilant attention to detail. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with individuals from all levels of the organization. * Strong PC skills, knowledge of PC applications and MS Office suite. Knowledge of MS Project, Access and Visio applications a plus.
