This is a full-time, probationary, externally-funded position within the Student Success Division.

Responsibilities:
Manage delivery of program services in collaboration with Project Director to meet grant requirements
Design, lead, and monitor internal and external communications, programming, training, and marketing for the PAC (Promote, Advance, and Connect Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Students)/AANAPISI (Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution) project
Lead objective 1C- Bolster/create relationships with 15 or more AANAPI community partners and schools
Required Qualifications
The following qualifications are required of all applicants seeking consideration for this position. Only applicants whose resumes clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for the position:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of professional experience in student support services, project management, or advising; or, three years of professional experience in student support services, project management, or advising.
Knowledge and experience with leading or coordinating campus-wide student success programming initiatives and support services related to diversity, inclusion, and/or student development theory
Demonstrated program evaluation and assessment
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to interact with many types and levels of stakeholders with competing interests
Experience working with federal grants in order to apply knowledge to broader university goals
Demonstrated experience working with nonprofit or community organizations
Ability to prepare and administer budgets and report outcomes
Experience working with diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree plus one year of professional experience
Demonstrated experience working with students overcoming Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander barriers to educational success
Experience in project management of federal grant awards
Ability to speak and understand one or more of the following languages: Hmong, Karen, Burmese, or Vietnamese
Other Requirements
Physical Requirements of the Job: The Grant Project Coordinator will primarily work in a hybrid environment, with some time spent on the St. Paul Campus of Metropolitan State University or in the community at organizations or high schools. Work is mostly conducted in an office and or business setting. There will be periods of sedentary work as well as periods of interactive work as the coordinator works with students, employees, and organizational partners. There will be occasional required transport of such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others and/or transporting light objects frequently. The position may require movement throughout building(s) to a significant degree.
Notice: In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a motor vehicle records check.

Benefits Info
Salary: This is a Minnesota State University Association of Administrative and Service Faculty (MSUAASF) Range C position with a salary range of $45,352 (minimum) to $91,288 (maximum). Salary is commensurate with education and experience, and is determined by the collective bargaining agreement between Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (Minnesota State) and the MSUAASF organization.
