Job Title: P6 Maintenance Scheduler
Department: Oil & Gas
Reports to: Site Manager
Direct the preparation of estimates for new work, developing a strategic approach for the completion of work packages and work plans and negotiating material and subcontractor quotes. Develops, manages and controls detailed CPM schedules, utilizing Primavera Planning and Scheduling Software, interfacing with the planning staff, all field discipline personnel and engineering staff, and incorporating electronic planning software data within the schedule. Maintains and updates the schedule periodically throughout the Project, and provides verbal and written reports in all aspects of schedule status and forecast to project and site management.

Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
Must be able to identify and/or assist in the development of the Scope of Work to be planed and scheduled.
Must be able to work within, and utilize data obtained from, the electronic planning software being utilized, such as Primavera, Micro Soft Projects, or other similar software.
Must be able to interact with all project participants to gather scope, logistics, and constraints to be included within the plan and schedule.
Must be able to develop the detailed WBS and Activity Coding Structure within Projects to allow for sufficient Grouping, Sorting, and Reporting to meet Ferrovial standard procedures and the specific needs of the Project.
Must be able to electronically or otherwise incorporate all planning data, obtained from the planning software and from verbal communications with project participants, into the Overall project plan and schedule.
Must have a good knowledge of Industrial Construction Work Processes in order to properly sequence, prioritize, and tie logic between all planed and scheduled activities.
Must be able to resource and/or cost load all activities within the plan and schedule.
Must be able to optimize resource utilization through resource leveling and density analysis within the Project schedule.
Must have the ability to produce, present, and analyze sufficient graphic and narrative schedule reports to meet Ferrovial standard procedures and the specific needs of the Project or client.
Must have the ability to assist in the development of the Project's Risk Analysis as pertains to the plan and schedule.
Must have the ability to lead Schedule Review Meetings with all Project Participants to ensure proper logic, prioritization, resource utilization, logistics and constraints are properly represented within the Plan and Schedule.
Must be able to develop periodic reporting formats to enable the collection of field progress data in accordance with Ferrovial standard procedures and the specific needs of the Project.
Must have the ability to assist in the development and management of a Scope Change Management system, incorporating all approved changes into the plan and schedule on a periodic basis, in accordance with Ferrovial standard procedures and the specific needs of the Project or Client.
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times while on the job site.
Must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with all employees, clients, field, and safety personnel.
Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to bend, squat and kneel.
Must be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolds and working at heights.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to enter confined spaces.
Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration's of up to 8 weeks or more.
Must be able to multi-task and manage several projects efficiently
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent
Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Business Preferred
Must have 8 to 10 years in Construction Management; or have similar tenure and experience in Heavy Industrial Construction/Maintenance or Turnaround work in the oil and gas industry.
Must have a minimum of four (4) years' experience working with scheduling cost controls and/or planning software packages, responsible for software's utilization at a minimum of two major oil and gas construction or turnaround projects.
