Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced personnel with P-3 aircraft background to support a contingent maintenance program with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Jacksonville, FL. The CBP P-3 fleet consists of Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Long Range Tracker (LRT) high-endurance, all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft. The AEW aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. The LRT aircraft are used to intercept, track airborne and surface threats in source and transit zone countries. The P-3 aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated sensor equipment, i.e., radar, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) detecting systems.
Northrop Grumman has one opening for an SCA Training Coordinator / General Clerk III to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Jacksonville, FL. We are looking for personnel with experience with aircraft maintenance training requirements. P-3 aircraft experience preferred.
FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
Research and recommend new training methods
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
Proven and documented work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
Experience with e-learning platforms
MS Office proficiency
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive information in a classified manner
Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Active Secret Level Security Clearance
Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Homeland Security CBP Background Investigation; Interim CBP Background Investigation is required to start
Previous experience working on the P-3 Program
College Degree preferred
Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) or equivalent
Current Active CBP Security Credentials
Active Secret or TS Security Clearance
