Oxygen Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities:

• to provide care and service to the oxygen patients at our accounts
• to do PAP and Trilogy setups/ in-services and nocturnal sleep studies
• perform tracheotomy changes per schedule at assigned facilities
• perform in-services for tracheotomy care, respiratory treatment, suction machine usage, and more, when needed
• perform weekly visits to assigned facilities to ensure all respiratory services are up to date and patient care is given when needed for respiratory supplies and services
• report and document all respiratory services and supplies given at time of servicing patient
• complete all necessary paperwork (i.e., Equipment Request Forms) for Month End billing
• turn in a summary to each facility visited that week of services provided
• attend monthly meetings and help in other areas as needed
• maintaining of all company valuables including company issued vehicle and daily completion of Vehicle Inspection Report

Productivity may be measured by the following:

• timely completion of monthly paperwork
• the number of patients serviced per month
• quarterly reports by the supervisor, from the facilities, about the quality of service provided by the therapist and the number of pieces each RT/RA cleans

Qualifications:

• must be a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist
• must maintain current licensure as an LRT in the State of Colorado
• must be at least 21 years of age
• must be detail oriented and have good customer service skills
• must maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
• must be able to lift 20 lbs
• must be available for assigned hours and on-call shifts
• must be literate in Excel spreadsheets and basic e-mail.
