The Own Brand Business Partner will be integral to the growth of our organization's Own Brand division, these are Wolseley's exclusive brands: ProFlo, Pro-Select, FNW, Raptor, Brock and Jones Stephens. Contributing expertise and leadership to drive exceptional performance and growth, this role will ensure the comprehensive development of Own Brand within their designated territory. This role will serve as the expert resource on Own Brand initiatives, execution and training. This role focuses on product communication, onboarding, sales mentoring, and product resource support. This role is responsible for revenue generation through the successful execution of programs and processes by working with Own Brand and Wolseley leaders. Influencing and directing activities related to successful business outcomes that drive Own Brand product sales are critical to this role's success.

What you will do:

  • Product Sales Performance Analytics and Recommendations: Conduct thorough and insightful product sales performance analytics, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize sales growth and revenue generation. Make strategic recommendations to capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Drive Share Gain and Ensure Compliance: Lead efforts to increase market share through implementation of robust strategies.

  • Pricing Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and direct support for pricing needs, including analysis of market prices.

  • Customer Service Support: Oversee customer service operations, handling warranty issues and customer complaints with a focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

  • Own Brand Training: Identify & execute training. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

  • New Product and Program Launch Execution: Take charge of executing successful new product and program launches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution and measure the success of these initiatives.

  • Provide leadership and guidance regarding Own Brand specification opportunities.

  • Display Management: Directly support and enforce display requirements and the strategic placement of Own Brand Products. Enhance visual merchandising to attract and engage customers effectively.

  • Provide Feedback and Intelligence: Deliver valuable execution feedback, field intelligence, and insights on new product opportunities to the Senior Manager Own Brand and leadership team.

What you will bring:

  • Post secondary degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications or experience are a plus.

  • Proven experience in product sales, marketing, customer service and business development.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from sales data and market trends.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead strategic initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in executing new product launches and measuring their impact on business outcomes.

  • Influences and communicates strategic initiatives with leaders within the district to deliver successful revenue generating results.

  • Understanding visual merchandising and its impact on customer engagement and product sales.

  • Adept at providing leadership and strategic alignment while leading initiatives within the region to drive results and deliver customer-centric solutions strategically.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time within your region.
