We are currently seeking a ProductionOperator (Production Technician) to join our team. This role works 12 hour shifts, a rotating 3-4 days/week.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on production equipment consisting of fillers, labelers, case packers, and wrappers

  • Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime

  • Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks

  • Inspect raw materials against quality standards before loading raw materials

  • Interact with team members, quality assurance and maintenance to maximize output and efficiency

  • Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices are met

  • Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations

  • Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed

  • Provide vacation coverage to team members as needed

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two or more years prior experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry or a clean manufacturing environment

  • Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)

  • Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively

  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills

  • Comfort working in a high speed production environment

  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills

  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 business operating through most weekends and holidays

  • Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview

  • Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are required

  • Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold)

Our 139-bed facility includes an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, Heart Institute, Primary Stroke Center, emergency department, state-of-the-art operating rooms, Bone & Joint Center, Simpson Breast Health Center and the area's only Obstetrics Program, The Baby Place, offering family-centered maternity care. Other special services include, a Center for Wound Healing, CREATION® Health Wellness Center, CREATION® Health Spa, home health, imaging center, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. You will be responsible for: * Utilizing proper positioning criteria and technical exposure factors, performs all required imaging projections for given procedure. Utilizes two patient identifiers to confirm patient/exam accuracy before administering exam. Reviews all images on Computed Radiography NX station for evidence and accuracy of RT/LT marker placement and proper orientation. Repeats any view that fails to include all required anatomical structures or lacks proper contrast and spatial resolution. Adheres to all criteria on the Image Quality Action Plan. * Completes assigned exams in a timely manner. Keeps work flow coordinator informed of availability and status of all pending exams. Personally follows through with communicating clinical information. * Utilizes computer system to update exam status, cancel/update orders as needed. Ensures charges match procedure completed. Confirms proper exam/patient assignment at NX before releasing images to PACS for interpretation. Corrects erroneous accession numbers in PACS. * Operates and maintains Imaging equipment in a safe manner. Adheres to all infection control standards. Properly wears dosimeter badge and seeks to minimize radiation exposure. * Performs a full range of imaging procedures and operates all imaging equipment in assigned department. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to perform safe and effective procedures on patients of all ages (neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics). The knowledge and skills are acquired through formal training in an approved school, in-service, continuing education and/or experience. Demonstrates a willingness to learn/adapt to new technologies and protocols and help develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and students. * Assists with data collection for process improvement initiatives while understanding the department performance trends and established standards. Contributes toward process improvement by serving on PI teams as assigned. Participates in department employee engagement and patient satisfaction initiatives. Utilizes patient service recovery resources when appropriate. * Attends department meetings consistently and promotes positive dialogue with respect to department objectives.
